Laurel Art Guild Artists Reception
Join me at the reception for the Laurel Art Guild’s 54th Annual Juried Exhibition. During the reception juror Lindsay McCulloch will announce the winners of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and merit awards and hear her remarks about the works in the show. I have one piece in this show, my wool painting called Finding the Way and I’m very excited to her what she might have to say about it! RSVP to let me know if you’ll be there!
Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival with Margo
Join me for a stroll around one of the largest fiber festivals in the USA! We’ll learn how to test “mystery” fibers to see if they will felt easily, learn about various tools and get a chance to “buy local” wool for our next project. Spinners, knitters and weavers are welcome too. A nice variety of food trucks on the grounds and of course a chance to pet a few sheep and other fiber producing critters! Entry fee is $10 and you can pre-order your ticket or buy at the gate. RSVP with your email and I’ll send out meeting instructions as we get closer to the festival!
